September 5, 2000 To Whom It May Concern: I was Director of Table Games Operations at Boomtown, Las Vegas during the following period of time. Howard Grossman was working as a blackjack consultant and said that he had developed a slight variation of single deck blackjack that could increase the appeal and hold percentage. "MAXTIME 21" (previously called "DOUBLE DIAMOND 21") was dealt at Boomtown from the end of March 1997 through the end of June 1997. The game dropped $227,542 and won $58,619 for a hold percentage of 25.8% during this three month period. Players, mostly locals, liked to play this game so much we usually had to leave the table open long after the pit had been closed. The dealers learned to deal "MAXTIME 21" quickly and easily and the players were able to play immediately with a short explanation of all the exciting options offered. The game ran smoothly with virtually no problems. I would recommend "MAXTIME 21" to anyone because of the strong hold and customer appeal. Sincerely,
